SHELBI THREET-WHITE

Shelbi Threet-White is a Wife, Mother, and a successful Serial Entrepreneur. The self-proclaimed ‘Finance Fixer’ was born and raised in the Hill District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From humble beginnings, she learned the value and reward of hard work, and realized that God was using her to be an example and light in a place where darkness had been accepted as the norm. Chasing her dream to create a hub for family and community, Shelbi and her husband, Dave embarked on their first business, ‘Shelbi’s Beauty Supplies Plus’, which was an African American Beauty Supply Store located in the West End of Pittsburgh. As their knowledge of entrepreneurship grew, they laid the foundation for their next business endeavor and opened a community based Childcare Center, ‘A Tot’s Spot Daycare,’ which was located in the Troy Hill section of the Northside of Pittsburgh. The success of their childcare business proved what Shelbi’s cousin, Tracey had always told her, “If you build it, they will come”. Shelbi used that literally and figuratively as she and her husband launched their real estate company, ‘DS White Enterprises, LLC’ where they invest in real estate properties to flip, buy, and hold homes for rental investments.
